The innovative team of engineers and scientists from NASA, Johns Hopkins APL and more than 40 other partner organizations across the country that created the revolutionary Parker Solar Probe has been awarded the 2024 Robert J. Collier Trophy by the National Aeronautic Association.

Ashutosh Dutta, APL’s chief 5G strategist and an IEEE Fellow, has been inducted into the New Internet Protocol version 6 Hall of Fame. He was recognized for his leadership in the worldwide deployment of the next-generation protocol needed to support the global growth of the internet and improve its operation and security.
