Morgan M. Trexler

Dr. Morgan M. Trexler is the program manager for Science of Extreme and Multifunctional Materials in APL’s Research and Exploratory Development Mission Area. She leads a diverse and expansive portfolio of research projects focused on developing new capabilities for extreme environment applications. She was previously supervisor of the Multifunctional Materials and Nanostructures Group. Dr. Trexler serves on the Hopkins Extreme Materials Institute executive committee, the Maryland Science Center’s Science Council, and the National Academies’ Standing Committee for Defense Materials, Manufacturing, and its Infrastructure (DMMI), which focuses on the advancement of materials science and engineering, manufacturing, and the infrastructure issues related to materials science and manufacturing in the national interest.
