BioDr. Vamsee Krishna Jagarlamudi is a senior scientist in the Solar and Space Physics Group within APL’s Space Exploration Sector. His research focuses on in situ fields and plasma measurements in the inner heliosphere, with extensive experience analyzing data from missions such as Helios 1 and 2, Ulysses, Wind, Cluster, Parker Solar Probe, and Solar Orbiter. His work spans solar wind turbulence, wave–particle interactions, interplanetary coronal mass ejections (ICMEs), shocks, plasma heating and evolution (electrons, protons, and alpha particles), and magnetic switchbacks. Dr. Jagarlamudi has authored and coauthored numerous peer-reviewed publications, has presented at international conferences, and serves as a reviewer for scientific journals and as a panelist for NASA proposal reviews.
