Bio
BioDr. Rick Fitzgerald has more than 35 years of engineering and project management experience. He joined APL in 2007 and has held leadership roles on several missions, including serving as project manager for the Van Allen Probes and Dragonfly. Dr. Fitzgerald also served as a program area manager, responsible for managing a large portfolio of APL civil space missions, instruments, studies, grants, and proposals. He chaired the NASA Standing Review Board (SRB) for the ICON mission and was an SRB member for the GRACE Follow-On mission.
