BioJon R. Berry is the acting mission area executive for Sea Control at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). He is responsible for strategic planning, execution, and performance of multiple Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Berry was the deputy mission area executive for Sea Control. His technical background is in active acoustic sonar system development, analysis, testing, and evaluation. He currently serves as co-chair of the Mid-Frequency Active Working Group for Surface Ship Systems and the Low Frequency Active Working Group for Maritime Surveillance. He received a B.E.E. in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware and an M.S.E.E. in electrical engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. While working at APL, he earned an M.S.E. in technical management.
