BioJenelle Millison is an associate artificial intelligence (AI) researcher in the Complex Systems Group within APL’s Research and Exploratory Development Mission Area. Her research advances AI methods to deepen understanding of complex chemical, biological, and Earth systems. Recently, her work has focused on developing agentic AI systems that function as scientific collaborators, orchestrating chemistry and biomanufacturing laboratory experiments, and conducting simulation-based research in Earth systems science to accelerate discovery. She also develops computer vision approaches for applications ranging from in situ laboratory monitoring to large-scale satellite imagery analysis.
