Bio
BioDr. Erin May primarily works on James Webb Space Telescope data analysis of transiting exoplanets. She has worked with various ground- and space-based instruments to study exoplanet atmospheres and previously worked on 3D general circulation models of exoplanet atmosphere dynamics to make observational predictions. Her expertise spans large hot Jupiters for population studies, through small, rocky exoplanets with a focus on the search for atmospheres. She is particularly interested in mitigating time series systematics and extracting small signals from relatively noisy data. Her main goal through all her work is population-level studies to uncover trends in exoplanet atmosphere properties.
