BioBrian Geesaman is the mission area executive for Precision Strike at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. He is responsible for the mission area’s vision and strategy and for overseeing the program portfolio. The mission area focuses on the development and fielding of strike and air combat capabilities, including long-range targeting systems, counter-C5ISRT (command, control, computing, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting), electronic warfare, low-cost weapons, and time-critical strike. He was formerly the deputy mission area executive for Precision Strike, leading a portfolio of programs and initiatives focused on critical integrated strike warfare capabilities, kinetic and non-kinetic weapon systems, and end-to-end capability development for the Navy, Air Force, and other Department of War agencies. As program area manager for Electronic Attack, he led the development and implementation of an electromagnetic spectrum dominance strategy for electronic attack. Mr. Geesaman has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He completed senior-level executive education at the Harvard Kennedy School and George Washington University and is a graduate of the Leadership Premier program at Loyola University of Maryland.
