Darcy Sensenbrenner

Darcy B. Sensenbrenner is the operations executive for the Force Projection Sector (FPS) at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). She leads all elements of direct and indirect project financial management, reporting, classified information technology infrastructure and services, office and facility space planning and administration, video-teleconferencing services, security administration, and internal web-based communications for more than 1,600. As a member of the FPS Executive Leadership Team, Ms. Sensenbrenner provides leadership, develops strategy, sets direction, and oversees execution in support of advancing the sector’s capabilities. Ms. Sensenbrenner joined APL in 1988 and has served in supervisory positions for business and financial groups and sections and had lead roles in the prime contracts and subcontracts organizations. She has led a number of Laboratory teams and initiatives and is a member of APL’s Principal Professional Staff. She is an instructor for the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering’s Engineering for Professionals program. Ms. Sensenbrenner earned a B.A. in economics and public policy from St. Mary’s College and an M.S. in business from the Johns Hopkins University. She is also a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Senior Executives in National and International Security program and Howard County’s Leadership Premier program.
