Mimi Cuddy-Mierzwa

Mimi K. Cuddy-Mierzwa is operations executive for the Air and Missile Defense Sector of the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. She oversees all elements of infrastructure operations responsible for business management, financial reporting, space planning and administration, security, centralized classified IT services, and logistics for more than 1,300 staff. As a member of the Air and Missile Defense Sector Executive Leadership Team, she enthusiastically supports the organization in providing leadership and strategy development, setting direction and overseeing execution in support of advancing the programmatic and technical capabilities of the sector to ensure mission effectiveness, and developing and resourcing critical technical facilities and sustainable IT operations to support the sector’s strategic focus areas and execution priorities. Ms. Cuddy-Mierzwa joined APL in 2004, having spent the previous twenty-plus years in finance, administration, and business operations supporting nonprofit and large for-profit organizations as well as national Department of Defense government contractors. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Daemen College in Buffalo, New York.
