College Summer Internships
Read what some of our Summer Interns have said about working at APL...
APL offers science and engineering internships each summer. The program provides practical work experience and an introduction to APL. Students spend the summer working with APL scientists and engineers, conducting research, developing leadership skills, and growing professionally. We will be accepting applications for the 2010 summer intern season beginning on September 1, 2009. Applications must be received by March 31, 2010. A total of 211 interns worked at APL this summer—a record number. The students ranged from freshmen to Ph.D. level and came from 60 colleges and universities. They worked on projects across the Laboratory in every technical department, and they had the opportunity to network throughout the summer at receptions, social events, seminars, and workshops.
