Bio
BioDr. Brian A. Bittner is a senior scientist whose research focuses on robotic agility and dexterity in complex physical environments. His recent projects include high-speed autonomous driving in forests as well as bimanual underwater manipulation. He is also researching generative methods that improve the speed and covertness of robotics reconnaissance missions. Dr. Bittner holds an appointment as an assistant research professor with the Johns Hopkins University Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics. Additional areas of expertise include control, system identification, motion planning, state estimation, and mapping.
