Laurie B. Tubbs is the operations executive for the National Security Analysis Department at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. She provides leadership and management of the business and administrative functions for overall operations, including the National Security Analysis Mission Area. She heads all aspects of direct and indirect financial management, logistics, security, facility management, and IT services for more than 180 staff members. She also oversees the operations of the Laboratory’s Scientific and Technical Intelligence Liaison Office. Previously, she served as the Business Operations and Services Group supervisor. Ms. Tubbs has a master’s certificate in government contracting from the George Washington University and is a project management professional with the Project Management Institute.
