Dr. Christopher A. Watson is a senior staff physicist whose research interests include superconducting platforms for quantum information science, unconventional superconductivity and exotic magnetism, and scanned probed microscopy at low temperatures, including novel superconducting sensor development. His work focuses on superconducting electronics for quantum information applications and noise characterization. Additional areas of expertise include condensed matter physics; quantum computing, control, information, and sensing; and scanning superconducting quantum interference device microscopy.
