Researchers in the Intelligent Systems and Exploratory Sciences branches are utilizing a pressure-reactive layered material, e-dermis, to interpret touch. This approach, in addition to the Modular Prosthetic Limb (MPL), was featured on page 7 in the June 2022 issue of National Geographic.
