Gregory Melcher directs accurate, timely, innovative programs with a talented staff of science, engineering, and operations experts applying military, intelligence operations, advanced modeling and simulation methods, and critical decision-support experience toward solving critical national security challenges. The National Security Analysis Department (NSAD) assists the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Chief of Naval Operations, Joint Forces Command, the National Security Agency, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and top-level policy leaders with proven recommendations and guidelines on advanced capabilities, systems, and architectures. NSAD's National Security Analysis Business Area provides foresight and innovative decision support on emerging threats to national security.
