Mr. J.
Bacon joined APL as a Technology
Manager in the Office of Technology Transfer. He specializes in sensors, instrumentation and process
control. Mr. Bacon comes from the
Mid-Atlantic Technology Applications Center (MTAC), a NASA Regional
Technology Transfer Center where he was a Business Development Specialist
for five years. Mr. Bacon also worked at Bayer Chemical
and Occidental Chemical as a manager of engineering and Fischer &
Porter as an industry-marketing manager. He is a senior member of
ISA
- the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society - where he has
held several national and local offices. He was a finalist for the
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1992 and has a B.S.
degree from Cornell University. |
