Security Foresight Takes Off
APL's efforts to increase national security through early launch detection technologies got a big boost from the development of the First Alert and Cueing (FAC) System. This new all-weather technology detects ballistic missiles during the critical boost phase, allowing for early counter-measure operations and strategic planning.
