The Recreation Office plays a major role in supporting staff members with services to make work days a little easier. The heart of that operation is the "company store," known by all as APLrinc ("apple-rink".) The store sells gifts and party goods, sundries, candy, and APL logo items (T-shirts, caps, mugs, etc.).

In addition to sponsoring clubs and on-site shopping,

the Recreation Office provides the following:

• Personal fax service
• Film developing
• Notary Public
• Recreation library (magazines, books, etc.)
• Discount entertainment tickets (theme parks,
  movie theaters, etc.)
• Cell phone service provider options

During the year, the Recreation Office sponsors several family-oriented events, including:

• Family picnic at a major theme park
• Harvestfest and Craft Fair
• Children's Fishing Derby
• December Winter Festival
• Ice Cream Social
