The Business and Communication Services Department (BCSD) provides a support infrastructure for APL's technical work. BCSD oversees multiple prime contracts with U.S. government agencies, ensuring that all business transactions are conducted in compliance with good business practices and with the regulations of the federal government. BCSD supports APL communications functions, through public affairs and technical communications groups.The department is also developing and integrating APL’s new Enterprise Business Support System (EBSS), combining multiple legacy business systems serving different sponsors into a single corporate system.
