NAS Patuxent River is located about 90 miles from APL's main campus. The field office is in the Expedition IV building of the Expedition Park, off Route 235, approximately 1/4 mile north of the base.

From APL Main Campus in Laurel:
Route 32E to Route 3 to U.S. 301S to Route 4 through Solomons across the Patuxent River bridge to Route 235. Turn left on Route 235, go south about 5 miles, and turn left on Expedition Drive. Continue to the right through the complex. Expedition IV is the last building on the right.
From the Capital Beltway (I-495):
Beltway to Route 5 (Branch Avenue) south through Waldorf to intersection with Route 235. Follow Route 235 south about 38 miles, and turn left on Expedition Drive. Continue to the right through the complex.
