APL/NSS is committed to being the best. Experience comes from the familiar and our space engineers routinely build instruments and spacecraft, launch and operate spacecraft, and download and analyze sensor data. Our linkage to NASA enables NSS to carry new technologies and concepts across agency boundaries at reduced costs. For example, we may be able to use a space-qualified system, application, or sensor from a previous NASA mission for another similar project.
