APL Celebrates Black History Month
In honor of Black History Month, APL has planned many exciting and interesting events throughout the month of February. The Laboratory's theme for this year's celebration is "Black Women in American Science, Technology, History, and Culture." This year's events will honor the leadership, patriotism, ingenuity, intellect, and artistic expression of African American women in the building of this nation, their communities, and their families. Their story is unique, and to gain an understanding of their contributions is to broaden our understanding of a people and our nation.
