The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory Amateur Astronomy Club is a participant in The Amateur Sky Survey Project (TASS). TASS Observatory #6 is located on the roof of Building 40, at the APL Laurel Campus. The observatory is run and maintained by volunteers, with the laboratories support of equipment and limited funding. Data Analysis assistance is being solicited from the JHU/APL community. If you are interested in participating in this effort, please contact Dr. Nicholas Beser. Participants will receive a CD-ROM with 4 nights of TASS Data. In exchange, we would like you to process the data with the TASS Data Analysis Tools (See the link on the left of this page). Those who process the data, will receive more CD's.
